Moon Cho’s journey into spiritual and holistic living began over 30 years ago when her beloved late sister, Sun, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. During that life-changing time, Moon opened her first spiritual book, Grace & Grit by Ken Wilber, and found herself crying through every page. Within three months, she felt called to deepen her spiritual path and traveled to a Buddhist meditation center in the mountains of Colorado, where she stayed for one month. Although her mind was not yet trained for meditation, something within her knew that spirituality, healing, and holistic living would become an essential part of her life’s purpose.

After Sun passed away, Moon received a powerful inner message from her sister to begin a healthy living blog, which became Yin & Yang Living. At the time, Moon did not realize that in Chinese philosophy, yin is connected to the Moon and yang is connected to the Sun. This beautiful synchronicity later became one of the deepest meanings behind her work: Moon and Sun are the yin and yang. Through Yin & Yang Living, Moon continues to honor her sister’s spirit by helping others heal, awaken, and live with greater balance, purpose, and soulful abundance. Yin & Yang Living is a life-long mission and calling for Moon.
