Colin McIntosh is best known as Founder and CEO of Sheets & Giggles, a sustainable bedding brand based in Denver. S&G is famous for our award-winning Eucalyptus Lyocell sheets, which were spotlighted on Good Morning America for Earth Day 2023, and which won “Best Overall” sheets in Good Housekeeping. Colin went through Techstars Boulder 2019 with S&G, and he has raised over $5M in venture capital.

Colin kicked things off at S&G with the help of crowdfunding, raising $284,000 from an Indiegogo preorder campaign in May 2018. Just 2 years later, S&G hit a major milestone – its first month with over $1 million in sales! The company has since shipped hundreds of thousands of units in its first 6 years, and it now makes sustainable plant-based mattresses, pillows, and more.

Colin is also extremely proud of the $250,000+ that S&G has donated to charity since founding. The company also makes its pillow right here in Denver with formerly incarcerated Coloradans making a living wage, which lowers recidivism and homelessness.

Besides Sheets & Giggles, in his spare time Colin also created an AI Resume Builder at SheetsResume.com, a side business / passion project that is averaging over $1,000 per day in profit. Early in his career, Colin was a tech recruiter for some of the largest businesses in the world, and he has kept that expertise sharp over the years by doing 1:1 resume reviews and career coaching with hundreds of people.

At SheetsResume.com, Colin has built a suite of free and paid AI tools to help people dramatically improve their odds of success in a job search. His free resume template has over 4 million users total, and the AI Resume Builder, Cover Letter Writer, AI Mock Interviewer, and AI Job Board are helping thousands of job seekers every month.

Because this is a passion project and not his primary income, Colin also gives away all these AI tools *totally for free* to anyone facing financial hardship. As a former recruiter, he is intimately familiar with how tight money can be during a job hunt, and he never wants finances to be a blocker for people who need help.

Colin believes that there are too many tools out there designed for employers, but barely any for job seekers. Why? Because employers have money, but unemployed people don’t, so they’re ignored by software companies. And that’s why job hunts are so often so very miserable; it can feel like you’re alone on an island.
