Strategic advisor and consultant to leaders in public services
Vijay is a strategic advisor and consultant to senior leaders in public services. A Chartered Fellow of the APM and a Chartered Management Consultant, he previously worked at PwC, PA Consulting and Capita. Prior to joining the private sector, Vijay was a Civil Servant. Vijay has advised senior leaders across the NHS, UK Ministry of Defence, Department for Education and local government. His work emphasises human centred transformation that enables government and public services to achieve better service delivery and deliver more for less.
Notably, he helped establish Greater Manchester’s devolved health system, led transformation in the UK DfE, MoD and contributed to transforming Saudi Arabia’s health economy as part of Vision 2030. Vijay has also supported the UK’s start-up and scale-up sector.
A renal transplant recipient and advocate for neurodiverse talent, Vijay advises Kidney Research UK, serves on the charity’s Development Advisory Board, and sits on Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity’s Grants and Impacts Committee. He is an Associate NED in the NHS, a Fellow of the RSA, and holds an MSc in Public Policy and Management from King’s College London. He was previously a School Governor and Councillor in Southwark.
